Celebration and Worship Ministries of Community of Hope

At Community of Hope, our worship services are called Celebration Gatherings, where you’ll find relevant and inspiring messages, music that communicates in a language that goes beyond mere words, and state-of-the-art presentation techniques.  There are a variety of worship opportunities for you to become involved in. Whether it be greeting to help create a welcoming environment for other worshipers, sharing your musical gifts, drama, helping with communion, visuals for the stage and altar, or assisting with audio/visual equipment, you may just find something that allows your creativity to flow. 

Below is a snapshot to help you discover a little more about opportunities in Community of Hope’s celebration ministry. 

• Sunday Morning Greeter Corp - Greets those walking through Hope’s doors as if they are welcoming Christ
  
• Celebration Team – Be a  member of the instrument and vocal team that leads COH in its Celebration Gathering (audition required)
• Media Team:
  • Sound Technician – Oversees COH’s audio needs during Sunday Celebration Gatherings (training provided)
  • Visual Media – Oversees the visual presentations during Sunday Celebration Gatherings (training provided)
  • Photography – Take pictures on a regular basis of the ongoing life of COH
  • Celebration Guide – Assist in the layout and production of our Sunday Celebration Guide (knowledge or Microsoft Publisher is a plus)
  • Creating Visuals for Screen Presentations – Be part of a team that creates metaphors used to illustrate Sunday messages (knowledge of Photo Shop is required)
  • Stage and Altar Visuals - A team that creates artistic expressions that help bring a visual focus on stage and altar table displays, banners, etc.
    
• Drama Ministry – Be a cast member of presenting mini skits that help further illustrate Sunday’s message
• Set up for Communion Celebrations – Preparing elements for the celebration of communion
