Did you know? When Dustin first met his wife Kellie while playing an instrumental duet, the first words out of her mouth were, “You’re out of tune.” Dustin, as a big-shot college guy, didn’t appreciate the comment from this high school girl. They did not speak for two years. Eventually Kellie joined Dustin as one of the drum majors for the marching band at the University of Kansas. After spending massive amounts of time together (and Kellie becoming enthralled with Dustin’s amazing skills) one thing eventually led to another and they were married on June 19, 2004. On April 17, 2007 the cutest girl in the world, their daughter, Maisie, was born. Their family also includes a hyperactive and high-maintenance beagle mix dog named Bailey. Dustin has served as a worship leader for churches in Kansas, Illinois, and Texas. His passion is to see people encounter God in worship gatherings as well as in their daily lives.
