Please keep our son and our family in your prayers. He will be leaving for Afghanistan in the next few days. As we believe God will keep him safe, its going to be hard on him, his wife, daughter and us.

An update on 4 year old Avery Gray. The pathology report came back last night as "favorable." The Wilms tumor is cancerous, but "favorable" in how those specific types of cells respond to treatment. She will begin chemo and radiation treatments next week. Still a long road ahead, but not nearly as bumpy and scary as the other road would have been. Please continue to pray for her and that her little body responds and tolerates the chemo and radiation well.

Please continue the prayers for my friend Keith Gray and his 4 y.o. daughter Avery. She had surgery on Friday at Cooks Childrens Hospital and they removed her kidney with a cancerous Wilms tumor on it. They also had to remove part of her colon that had been compromised by the tumor. The tumor was stage 3 and had "spilled" to where it impacted spleen and pancreas as well. They are STILL waiting for definitive pathology report to let them know next steps. She will be beginning both chemo and radiation treatments in the next 10 days.

Please lift up my friend Keith Gray and his family in your prayers. They just learned that their 4 y.o. daughter Avery has a rare form of kidney cancer known as a Wilms tumor. They are at Cook's and she will likely be having her kidney removed today and chemo will follow.

Update on Lindsay: The surgery went great. It was the best possible situation. The doctor was able to do the surgery arthroscopically so she only has 3 tiny incisions. He put the problematic piece of bone back in place with pins and created more blood flow to the area to promote healing. He doesn't want her to put weight on it so she'll be on crutches for 6 weeks.

Lindsay has knee surgery scheduled for Friday morning at 7:15. Please pray that the doctor will be able to fix the problems and eliminate her pain. It is a 2 hour day surgery. Following the surgery she will be on crutches for 6 weeks and go through physical therapy. The surgery is routine, but the one concern the doctor has is that her problem should have healed on its own without surgery but hasn't.

We need to be in prayer for the family of Sabrina Trujillo who passed away this morning. Pastor Tim will miss his incredible wife and their children will miss their mother greatly. The adult children are Tim, Jr. and Erin.

Also pray for the dear closet friend of Pastor Tim, Rev. Chris Allen and his wife Melissa. These 4 people were very close and served the UMC for many years.

Funeral arrangement will follow later.

Please pray for my family. I have been laid off for four weeks now and not having much don't want to say luck but I guess that will have to work in finding a job. I have started my own company Southern Blue Garage Door and with what little I am getting from unemployment we will make it this month. Not sure about June, please pray for my family

Please pray for my daughter and her family, Ami & Steven, they have 9 children 3 months to 14 years old. They all have Whopping Cough and 4 of the children, Zac, Olivia, Joey, & Geff are very ill. They have been asked by the state of Indiana to stay home as they are all contagious. She called this morning to let me know and ask for prayers. Thank you Carol
