WAYS YOU CAN HELP WITH THE COMMUNITY GARDEN

Just 30 minutes a week invested by a lot of individuals can make a huge difference. Here are some of the ways you can help:

  • Pull grass and weeds - this is needed every day
  • Move 4 or 5 wheelbarrows of mulch to needed areas for weed control
  • Water
  • Pick vegetables if needed and bag for the Wesley Mission center
  • Help till soil when needed
  • Bring compost items and add to the compost piles at the south end of the garden
  • Turn the compost pile

The Community of Hope community garden has grown a blog! The garden is in its first year of growth and has wildly exceeded expectations. A big thank you to all who have volunteered to maintain the garden as well as to Melissa Benson for coordinating this huge undertaking!
