Prayer Points
A group that prays for the prayer requests turned in each Sunday on the Communication Cards; sends notes of encouragement

E-Prayers
A team of persons who pray for requests submitted to them via email

Celebration Gathering Prayer Partners
A team of persons who arrive early Sunday mornings to pray (on your own or with others) for the Celebration Gathering, pastor, band, teachers, kids, etc.

To present Community of Hope to the Mansfield/Arlington area and use that exposure to make a difference as we reach out into the lives of people with hope.

 

Missions / Local and World
To equip to be a part of a local or worldwide mission project or be involved in sponsorship

HOPE Tutoring
Serve as tutor to at-risk age school children in one of 5 tutoring centers in the Arlington area (background check required – training available)

Sports
Coordinate or coach a sports team venue for COH

Marketing
Be part of a team that brainstorms and designs and implements marketing ideas

Web Site
Assist in the layout, design and maintenance of COH’s website

Media Communication
To communicate with newspapers, radio, TV, etc…

Special Events 
Assist with special events that reach out to our community, such as our neighborhood Easter egg hunt and Christmas Eve celebration

Provide an environment where everyone’s experience at Community of Hope is thoroughly enjoyable and stress-free - the Hospitality Ministry is the concierge of COH

Setup and preparation of Sunday morning refreshments

Sunday Morning Greeter Corps
Greets our guests and members on Sunday mornings

Information / Resource Center
Setup and staffing of the Information / Resource Center during Sunday Celebration Gathering

Host and Hostess Corps
Serves as hosts for special church functions (such as meals, refreshments, etc)

To provide a setting where hearts and minds are open to the love of Christ.

 

Worship & Music Band
Leads in our Sunday celebration and worship (audition required)

Audio / Visual Team
Gives oversight to managing COH’s audio and screen needs during Sunday presentations (training provided)

Visual Media Production
Assist in the production of our visual needs (some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or a movie making software is a plus)

Photography
Take pictures on a regular basis of the ongoing life of COH (A digital camera needed and willingness to bring with you each Sunday is a plus)

Stage Crew
Help create a relevant environment on the stage throughout the year

Drama Ministry
Help present scenes that further illustrate Sunday’s theme

Set up for Communion Celebrations
Preparing essential elements for the celebration of communion

To provide specific ministries that cultivate, equip, and encourage those seeking a closer walk with God, through support, prayer, and fellowship with others in a caring environment.

 

Women’s Connection
Be part of a team that plans and coordinates fun events for the women of COH

Support Groups
Facilitate or coordinate a support group (COH sees its future as providing a setting for support groups dealing with a variety of issues. Training provided.)

To equip men, women, and children with tools that will empower them to become effective followers of Jesus Christ.  

 

Home Teams / Small Groups
Lead/ facilitate a COH small group or offer your home as a host home (training available – interview required)

Youth Volunteer
Assist in working with our COH youth ministry (interview & background check required)

Hope Kids Volunteer

Nursery Volunteer
Assist in working with our COH Nursery age ministry (interview & background check required)

A team that reaches out to individuals in times of crisis by providing meals
