Missions is a vital part of the lifeblood of Community of Hope. We seek to live out God's will "on earth, as it is in heaven." There are missions opportunities, local and global, for all ages through Community of Hope.

CHARITY:WATER

Water is one of the biggest issues in our world today.  Unsafe water and lack of sanitation are the cause of 80% of all sickness and disease. It is estimated that 42,000 deaths occur weekly from unsafe water and poor sanitation. This is more than the total number of deaths from all forms of violence including war. 

The good news is we can help. COH will be partnering with Charity:Water to help provide wells in communities that are underserved in terms of water.

As a Lenten sacrifice, beginning February 17, COHers are challenged to give up some liquid (coffee, tea, soft drinks, alcohol, etc). Set aside the amount that you would normally spend on that liquid...and on a weekly basis, donate those funds to COH designated "charity water." We'll post a weekly total of the amount given. Let's see if we can raise $3,000 toward this cause. Drink by drink...together we will help realize the goal of widening access to safe water worldwide.
